Pair Of Oils On Panel by Alexander Leggett (1828 -1884)
Alexander Leggett was a Scottish painter of rustic and coastal scenes. He exhibited once at the Royal Academy in 1860 with a painting titled ‘Study of a Fisher Girl on the East Coast of Scotland’, and once at the Society of British Artists in 1870.
These two paintings are fine examples of his work.
