The Scottish regional branches of the MG Owners Club hold their annual Gathering of the Clans on Sunday 24th September 2017 at the Scottish Antique & Arts Centre, Doune. Tayside MGOC from Dundee are hosting the event this year and the target of 50 cars has been well and truly smashed, with 70 cars and still counting, already booked.
They have MGs ranging from 1930 (an MG J2), right up to brand new MG3 & MG6, courtesy of Phoenix Cars of Paisley, as well as all the popular classics such as MGB Roasters, GTs, MGFs and TFs to name just a few.
Whist this is primarily an MG enthusiast event, the public are welcome to come along too from 10.30 to 4.30, and are invited to make a £1 per person donation to start Tayside’s much needed club funds. They ask that visitors respect the cars, as they are treasured and expensive vehicles to maintain. Owners will be delighted to discuss their history and any details visitors wish to ask.
Bridge FM, Dundee’s Hospital Radio will be providing some music.
So pop along and find out about MG Owners Club events and runs, you don’t even need an MG to join, just a lively interest in the marque!
See the Prize Winning - Furthest Travelled, Oldest, Newest, Judges Favoutire and Most Heroic Project Cars.
The Scottish Antique & Arts Centre and Cafe Circa will also be open from 10am - 5pm.
What better way to spend your day!
