SILVER AND VINTAGE JEWELLERY
We are pleased to announce that we are holding our popular Valuation Days throughout the year in aid of FUNDING NEURO, a charity established to raise funds for research into Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s and Brain Tumours. This is a small charity which is working hard to raise funds for this specialist research and was brought to our attention by a member of staff whose husband had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s at the early age of 36 yrs.
To this end we welcome back MILENA AND WILLIAM PATERSON to our Charity Valuation Day on Thursday 19th March 2015. They will bring their expertise in both Silver and Vintage Jewellery to our customers wishing to find out if there is any value attached to their treasures.
Milena and William will be at the centre from 10.30 am to 3 pm to give a verbal valuation for a £2 donation per item to FUNDING NEURO.
The specialists will review pieces brought in by members of the public with particular interest in Georg Jensen, David Anderson, Alexander Ritchie and Ola Gorie. Accessories from Lea Stein, Pavone & Ernst Wilder. Scottish & European Silver is also in their field of expertise.
Margaret Clark, Manager at the Scottish Antique & Arts Centre confirmed she was pleased to see the return of Milena and William who had been extremely helpful to customers and also offering to research items out with their expertise. We look forward to another successful day for the Charity, Funding Neuro and the Scottish Antique & Arts Centre at Abernyte.
Our following Charity Valuation Day will be on Thursday, 23rd April 2015 featuring our Dr Robert Bustard, our expert on Chinese Artefacts.
