The Scottish Antique and Arts Centre, Abernyte will be celebrating its 20th Birthday on 3rd June.
Founded in 1997 by Bob & Elaine Templeman, The Scottish Antique and Arts Centre started off life with 12 Antique Dealers taking stand and cabinet space in what was formerly Stout Brother car showroom just outside the village of Abernyte. A small coffee shop – contemporary gifts were introduced shortly after.
This was the foundation for the Centre we know today.

This exquisite carved Anglo Indian colonial rosewood table available from Kit's Kurios at SAAC Doune. It's pierced edges and intricate legs would have taken a skilled craftsman hours of work.

A French painted chrome cigarette dispenser modelled as a brown leather football titled OLYMPIA, believed to have been made as a souvenir for the 1936 Olympic Games, with top-mounted ring pull to lift upper hemisphere revealing numerous gilt-metal cigarette holders. In superb condition. Available from Nostalgia’s stand in SAAC @ Doune.
